A Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure Wedding is special in so many ways. Autumn Olive Photography has been photographing weddings at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure for the past 16 years. If you have been with me long, you know that I was a Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure Bride almost 18 years ago. When I was a Rumbling Bald Bride, I would visit Rumbling Bald and just walk the grounds imagining my wedding. The lake and mountains were the perfect backdrop. I love coming back each year to see all of the updates the venue has made.

One of the big trends we have seen during the 2024 Asheville Wedding Season (and hope to see in the 2025 season) is the Remembrance Bouquet Charm. All but 2 weddings we photographed carried one of these sentimental charms. It is such a special way of remembering those loved ones that are no longer with us. Some brides have them already, while other brides are surprised with them as a gift. Capturing the tears that the brides shed during that moment is one of my favorite moments to capture, although I don’t share those special moments publicly.

We have also seen grooms wear charms on the inside of their jackets. This is a great way for a bride to send a little gift with a note to the groom while he is getting ready before the ceremony. Don’t forget to tell us about all of the little touches you are adding to your wedding day.
